I was brought up in the Vancouver area, and currently live in Vancouver.  I’ve also lived, and studied, and worked, in Toronto and Montreal.

I earned a PhD in post secondary education policy in 1999.  One of my more interesting, personally influential, jobs was working for a few years for CESO as the co-ordinator of a First Nations youth employment program.

I’ve been blogging since 2010.  This blog concerns mainly education, media, fine arts, and Canadian First Nations issues. (Its relatively short-lived predecessor was about me growing tomatoes–for the first time.)
